Godfather’s Pizza has been a favorite in Omaha and beyond for 50 years. When I had the opportunity to work on refreshing their brand platform, I knew it was important to maintain their history and re-establish their commitment to high quality and abundantly topped pizzas.
The classic Godfather character is the most iconic and beloved aspect of the brand, but had gotten lost over the years. I made him a focal point again and positioned him as the enforcer of quality and abundance. I introduced contemporary design elements inspired by his character, such as the pinstripes, use of black, and the high contrast image treatment. The result is a bold, distinct, and fresh look that pays homage to the company's past in a new way.
